One day I would like to live somewhere where we don't know anyone, where Brian and I have to rely on eachother for all things. Someplace where no one knows us either. We can make all new friends and still keep our old ones. We will be excited to get to visit our family and when they visit us. We will live a different like than we have, and we can experience new things.
I'd like it to be far away, and I'd like it to come soon!

ReplyDeletei can't tell you how much bethel has brought cory and i together. we came here with 100 dollars to our name and had to depend on eachother for everything. we moved to a town of yupik eskimos and knew no one. but together we were able to make new friends, start new jobs, and SAVE money!!!! this is somewhere i never thought i would end up, but i am soooooo glad i did!
i hope you get to go on your dream adventure together! it would be such a fun experience to share together. LOvE YOU, MISS YOU!
I think that is the best thing any couple can do. Hopefully it doesn't happen in your 60's when you decide to serve a mission together (that is when I think it will finally happen for Cody and I). It is hard for many to leave the comforts of thier job, family, friends, school, etc. but I don't know anyone that has regreted those experiences together. Have you looked into DelSol? That is what my sister and her man did and loved it!

ReplyDeleteWell, if Brian had a job like Dane, you would have exactly that! We're in Chicago right now and it's so fun being away (just for the summer) to get a little taste of an adventure out on your own. Relying on eachother and only eachother is such a fun experience! I highly recommend it! Try it! Or come with us next summer, haha. Hope you guys are doing good!
