Lucky me!

So I know I have been so bad on blogging, and only blogging on birthdays, but I am going to blog now about MY birthday! Those of you who know me well enough, know I don't go out of my way to let people know my birthday is coming up, I don't even hardly celebrate it. I think the most I do every year is go to Oregano's (which is my favorite) with my best girl friends, and then Outback (my other favorite!) with my family! Thats what I do every year, but this year was different, because a couple reasons. For one, I am married now. Two, I live in Utah. Three, there is no Oreganos here. So this year was a little different, well a lot different, but it was one of the best yet!

My birthday was on Saturday, so Brian, being the sweetheart that he is, wanted to celebrate my birthday ALL weekend. He picked me up at work on Friday around 12, and suprised me with taking me to my favorite furniture stores from Salt Lake to Provo. Which is about a 40 minute drive. Anyways, we stopped at about 8 stores, and he spoiled me with a BEAUTIFUL bed for our guest room.

And a dresser! Finally! (WE have been married almost 4 months and still dont have dressers, you can only imagine how grouchy I am with clear plastic buckets from walmart on the ground with stacks of clothes in them, very grouchy)

So after we purchased our beautiful items, which our last item purchased was in Provo, we drove to our friends , the Belnaps, house! They are young and married too, and Og and Brian went to high school together and Maddie and I both grew up in Gilbert and had a lot of the same friends, knew who eachother was but never really talked. Maddie and I have become very close and I consider her one of my best friends. We love to spend time with them as often as we can! Anyways, we went over to their house to visit for a bit, and Maddie had two present on her counter top, one from her... which was a little care package (wink wink) for the weekend. Some bath salts, some lotion, a bracelet, and some other fun stuff! The other gift was from Brian! What a suprise! In there was two cute shirts for date night on my birthday! Then Brian and I said goodbye and hurried back to our humble abode to set up our furniture, brians dad and brother helped brian set it all up!

After the furniture was all set up we packed our bags and headed to Park City. I really wanted to get away just the two of us, and Brian kept playing it off that he didnt think we could go this weekend, so when he told me we were going I was suprised and very happy! The drive up was nice, Brian and I close to never listen to music when we are in the car together, we like to have silence and talk to eachother, or sometimes brian will make ip funny little songs, about just about anything. Anyways, when we got there we were pretty tired, so we laod down and watched a movie and both of us fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up to, "Happy Birthday, Bebe" haha in his tired voice, in the middle of him waking up and stretching. The day was prefect, we spent the whole day just together, relaxing and doing fun things. Brian gave me a massage in the morning which was nice, I really needed that. We got ready and went shopping, as well as window shopping. We had a great day, then we went to one of his favorite places to eat up there, Davanzas. He goes there a lot when he going snowboarding. It filled us both up, too much. We got back to the hotel and went in the hot tub.I got all my birthday presents from Brian....

Then we each took hot showers and got in our lounge wear haha and laid in bed and I napped while Brian watched a movie. Usually, I fall asleep in every movie we watch together, Brian always wants me to stay up and watch it with him so he will bug me so that I can't fall asleep, but this time he just let me rest. Again, sweet boy I have. After I woke up, we were both still so full and did not want to go out to dinner so instead we walked to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and spent just as much as dinner would have on sweets. We walked back and just hung out the rest of the night! We love the time we get to spend together because our days are so hectic and the only time we really have to talk and hang out is when we get home from school at about 9:30pm. So I really cherished all the time we had alone together this weekend. I love this man so much! Sunday we woke up and we went to church, drove home and made dinner and organized the house!

It has been a great month, I love Brian Matthew.

Happy Birthday Loves of mine!

In the Past 3 days there has been birthdays of four people whom I love dearly. All of whom are family!


Lets start off with my best friend, Lily! Happy Birthday Lil Bug! I love you so, so much, you know I do because I smother you with my love when we play together, and you do the same! I love to play with you when we get together, I love when you follow me around and say "oh geez, kiki" because I take the hat off that you put on me and take off me over and over again. And if my hair doesn't look good, you'll be the one to tell me when you say "uh oh" then fix it and say "pitty hair" I love when you see me without your uncle Brian and you say "Uh oh, wheres byan?" I love when you are so excited to see me and play with me and give me hugs! You make me laugh til' my stomach hurts and theres tears rolling down my face, even when its just me and you in the room! I love you so much Lily girl! Thanks for making me laugh everyday I see you, and for making me feel loved and for being so easy to love! You are an amazing little girl, Lily Bug and I can't wait to see you grow and mature! and to see how many hearts you'll break! haha you little flirt! I love you so much! I'll always be here when you need me, and I will always love you!

Lorenzo! Talk about the stud of all 2 year old studs! Enzo, Happy Birthday! I sure do love you little man! You truly are the cutest boy ever and you melt every persons heart with your smile! That smile is the best ever, I tell your mom how cute it is all the dang time! That smile could light up anyones worst day! You are such a smart boy! I know you will grow up to do something so amazing and meaningful in this world, you are a little whiz! I love to play with you! I love when you get all excited and run around and get everyone in the room excited! You are such a good brother, I love to watch you and Lily play together and to see the way you protect her and how much you love her! I can't wait for you to grow up a little bit and come on adventures with Brian and I because you are such an adventurous boy, you so fun to be around! I will always be here if/when you need me. My sister in law, Aubree, where do I begin? What an amazing woman! Since I have moved to Utah, (besides Brian) Aubree has been the person I go to for any and everything! I feel so lucky to have someone so close to me that is such an amazing woman! She is one of the best people I know, she is always doing good for others and is so selfless! She always is there for me and listens to me when I need someone to talk to! We also have so much fun together, we laugh and joke and get so carried away in our ideas and silliness! Aubree, I love you! Thank you for all that you do and have done for me! Thank you for allowing me to move in with you when I was homeless! Thank you for being an amazing person to look up to, a great role model, and such a good big sister (in law)! I can't wait for our business to start. Yesdnil Yenrab! aka Lindsey Barney. She is such a strong person, she's been through so much and she's still smiling! Lindsey, you light a room when you walk into it, you put a smile on everyones face! You are such a joy to be around and you have such an uplifting spirit to you! I am so grateful to have had you as such a huge role in my life in the last 6 or 7 years! Thank you for changing my life and making me who I am today! Thank you for being an example and a sister to me! I love you so much and am eternally grateful for such a beautiful friendship we have between all of us girls! I miss you, Blake!

For those of you who don't know Blake, let me tell you a little bit about him...
He is one of the funniest people ever, he never talks bad about a single person... ever, he loves to pretend to be a creep to his sisters, he's the only boy out of 4 kids so he's learned a LOT about girls, thanks to us. Sometimes I feel bad he has to hear the things he does, but at least he's prepared to be a dad with girls. haha Anyways, Blake is really reliable, if I called him right now and asked him to pick me up from somewhere that was 45 minutes away, he would. Blake is so loving and so sweet, and always treats everyone with respect and love (now a days especially) Blake and I are so close in age, we became the best of friends in high school. He is still one of my best friends to this day! We both can be so open and honest with each other and always give each other advice, I really miss him!


He's on his mission now, and what an amazing example of faith to me he is, to leave at such a hectic time in our lives right now. and for him to be leaving at the age of 21, when all his friends are already home and some married, what and amazing testimony he has. I am so lucky to be his sister, and for him to call me his best friend! I love him so much and I miss him! I know he is doing whats best for him, and for this church. What a selfless act to dedicate your life for two years to the Lord. How amazing.


Anyways, I just really love my brother!

FAMILY TRIP!

Yikes.

How is it that I used to be such a people person and now when I get home from work I just want to be alone with Brian?
When did life get so crazy is such a short period of time?
How do people stay so busy and not go crazy?
When did i start to never have time to do anything?

Life is so busy trying to work full time, school starting next week (at night after work), and be a good wife.


I need a vacation.... Mexico, I miss you.

Married life

Wow, so much to catch up on, why do I do this all the tme? it's because I want to put pictures, but i cannot find the cord to brians camera which all our pictures are on!

So, after we got married we came back to utah to out cute little home and worked for a week.. might I add it was a TON of work!
Then we made our way on down to the beautiful Coronado Island! The drive seemed to take a week in itself, it was like 10-12 hours or so but we couldnt leave until after work and we drove all night! we made it fun because I got Brian to start listening to Eclipse (twilight series) on my ipod! And toward the end we were both over the car! haha we finally made it in the middle of the night, we stayed in Susan Browns amazing beach house! She was so awesome to let us stay there! It was beautiful! We had so much fun riding beach cruisers and driving the electric car all over the island touring everything! We had breakfast in the morning at a littel diner with the biggest portions of food and 5$ milkshakes! (they didnt say how much they were on the menu when we ordered them)

anyways, we just spent the week relaxing and shopping! Our faves!
ahah one day we decided to go to Disneyland and it was soo fun because Brian hasnt been there since he was little and could hardly remember it! So it was so much fun to go together! It was such a fun day, Brian spoiled me with 3 churros! Those things arent cheap! We left disneyland really late and had to drive all the way back to coronado that night! Let me tell you, it really took it out of us, we slept in so long the next day!

Our last night we spent it in LA, to shop til we dropped, and we did. We ended up staying the night in LA. We drove to az the next morning to spend thanksgiving with my family. (I guess when you are married you have to trade off families for holidays right? When do you end up just doing your own, does anyone know?) It was so fun to be back in Arizona and with the family! I love being there!

When we got back from thanksgiving we had a couple weeks to get settled in to our cuuute home! which is the CUTEST home by the way!

Kayla had her baby, Recker, and he is juuust THEE cutest baby in the world.

Brians brother, Andy, got home from his mission a couple days later and ti was the first time i got to meet him! He's awesome!
(and he's single, ladies!)

Brians mom and dad suprised the family with a trip to california for christmas! So, we got to go to disneyland AGAIN! we went to sea world which was soo fun! and we went to disneyland 3 days! which was awesome because we got to do ALL the rides and multiple times! Everyone in the family got to come except Shane mike and his wife Danica, because she's pregnant and due in a couple weeks! I am SOOO excited for ANOTHER nephew! Woo!
So the trip was fun, it was fun getting to know Andy, and spending time with the family!

We got back to Utah the day after Christmas and Brian and I had our own little christmas at our house together, which was soo fun because we were both so excited to give eachother our gifts!

Brians Aunt and Uncle came in to town a couple days after christmas and we got to spend time with them and their kids for about a week, which was super fun and we cant wait to hangout with them again in arizona!


Soooo, that is my update to you all. I dont know why i even blog, no one reads it anyways haha, and I am so slow at it! hahah but now you all know, Brian and I have beeen constantly moving around and been here and there and doing this and that so we havent had time at all to even sit and think haha its been weird! But things will start to slow down here now that the hoidays are over and we will have more time to relax and hangout with each other! I am ready for some slowin down in my life!
